Our Stainless Steel Vertical Tanks are perfect for your brewery. If you don’t have much floor space to work with, a vertical tank can help you make the most out of your brewing areas. We have vertical storage tanks that can be placed either indoors or outdoors. A Cedarstone Industry vertical tank will serve your business needs as well as any of our other options. Your tank will still be constructed on high-quality metal and have many customization options.
About Our Stainless Steel Vertical Tanks
Our tanks can be made and built-in nearly any gallon capacity. Furthermore, you can hold a variety of liquids in these tanks. Our tanks have passed ASME-certification, so pressurized liquids are safe in our tanks. That makes Cedarstone a premier supplier of tanks and systems for breweries nationwide. Certification is a necessity for any brewery system. Your beer will gain in pressure as the wort ferments, and you want to make sure that your brewers are safe from hard. Additionally, a pressure tank keeps unwanted contaminants outside of the tanks and holds necessary gasses in. However, you also need a bit more.
Our stainless steel vertical tanks are fitted with jacket insulation from top to bottom. Our glycol jacketing offers supreme insulation. Gone are the days when you had to control and plan for outdoor or indoor temperature before you began your next batch. With insulated tanks, the integrity of your brew doesn’t have to suffer just because the weather isn’t favorable. This allows you to produce more, faster. Our insulation also allows you to serve a more enjoyable brew, right out of the tank.
A clean-in-place (CIP) system makes cleaning your massive tanks a breeze. The CIP spray ball can reach every centimeter of the tank. After each batch, you can start all over with a spotless tank.
Last, but definitely not least, our vertical tanks are constructed with a cone bottom. The conical bottom allows you to remove the yeast without disturbing the rest of the batch. You can retrieve and store your yeast for future use. The bottom outlet can also be used to transfer the beer from the fermentation tank to the Brite tank, where you can store the beer until you’re ready to bottle. Both the fermentation tank and the Brite tank will be vertically oriented, for maximum space efficiency.
Other Options
Of course, tank orientation isn’t the only thing you can customize our tanks. You also have control over the type of insulation that comes pre-installed on your tanks. We do have single-wall tanks if you don’t want jacketed tanks. The jacketed tanks provide great insulation and temperature control, but you may not find the added expense necessary. Consider your brewing or manufacturing location and your past experience with product or beverage temperature.
When exploring the features of our vertical tanks, we discussed the benefits of a cone bottom. However, we also have flat-bottom tanks for companies that don’t need to retrieve yeast. Furthermore, we have round-bottom and tilt-bottom options. Talk to one of our representatives and they’ll be able to advise you on the best tank for the product you need to produce. Certain foods and drinks practically require sloped bottoms, whereas others need a cone bottom for maximum production levels.
If you’re involved in the food industry, you may need our steam jacket kettle or our steam cooker cooler. Both of these options have a jacket because you’ll need superior temperature management. Both options help you create and cook food that is thoroughly cooked all the way through. You can rapidly adjust the temperature, mix ingredients, and more in these specialized tanks.
As you can see, you can use our tanks in a variety of industries. Whether you need a 30,000-gallon stainless steel storage tank or a 30-gallon mixer, we have the tools to help you get the job done. Add out automated controls and digital screens, and you’ll have a consistent outcome with each and every year.
About Our Stainless Steel
No matter what you produce, you should store your produce in 304 stainless steel. This corrosion-resistant material can securely store just about any product or material. For added protection from the internal elements, you can also purchase one of our 316L stainless steel tanks. 316 had added chlorine protection and increased chemical resistance. However, you can’t really go wrong either way. Don’t settle for metal blends and inferior metals in cheaper tanks. Stainless steel is a worthy investment and will serve your business for years to come.
We don’t sell carbon steel because we want to offer your business the best product that we can. Carbon steel isn’t corrosion resistant. In fact, for the best value and protection, stick to 304 or 316L stainless steel. Even 303 stainless steel won’t offer the same benefits, and can even affect the flavor of your beer. Our products don’t negatively interfere with taste or quality. If anything, our stainless steel tanks maximize quality by bringing out the best in your recipe in a neutral, sanitary space.
